Zip-Front Faux Leather Jacket — built to be worn open or closed.
A short jacket built on a straight body with a stand collar — the kind of layer that works over a shirt in autumn and under a coat in winter. What makes it worth having is consistency — the same behaviour on the tenth use as on the first, with no break-in period and nothing to get used to. It comes in 2 colours.
The surface has a tight, uniform grain instead of the open texture of a woven cloth, which is what keeps it reading as deliberate rather than merely dark. A smooth coated surface with a low, even sheen. It is wiped rather than washed, and it keeps that finish far longer if it is not left folded under anything heavy.
The seams are flat-felled or bound rather than overlocked and left raw, so there is nothing to catch and nothing to fray out of the wash. Hems are re-turned twice before stitching, and the shoulder seam carries a strip of tape so it does not stretch out of line on a hanger. It is graded S/M/L/XL, and the flat measurements for every size are in the chart below.
A hip-length jacket with a full-length front opening, cut roomy enough to take a layered shirt underneath without pulling across the back. Detailed where it needs to be and plain where it does not. The shape is kept quiet so it works with what you already own rather than only with the rest of one collection. A zip-front jacket cut to sit on the hip, with the collar standing on its own and the sleeves finishing at the wrist.
The care instructions are short on purpose. Wash it the way you would wash anything you intend to keep, dry it flat or on a line, and it will hold the shape it arrived in. Layering is where it earns its place: it sits under a jacket without bunching across the shoulders and over a base layer without pulling tight across the back. Worn in rotation rather than every single day, it holds its surface noticeably longer — and that applies to the cloth and the seams in equal measure.
Holds its shape open or closed instead of collapsing at the neck.
Runs the whole way and parks at the top, not a partial opening.
Sized for a palm and a set of keys, not for show.

Measured flat, in centimetres, with the garment laid out and not stretched. Chest, waist and hip are half-circumference: double them to compare with a body measurement.
Allow 1-2 cm of tolerance, since the garments are cut and sewn by hand rather than stamped. If your measurement lands between two sizes, take the larger one - our fits are not vanity sized.
The stand collar holds its shape, so it frames the neck without a scarf.
The hip-length cut means it layers without bunching at the waist.
Cut roomy enough for the layer, and the front zip parks at the top.
Keeps the silhouette straight from shoulder to hem.
Keep it out of prolonged direct sun and wipe it down when it gets dusty. A coated surface ages slowly as long as it is not abraded — abrasion, not time, is what dulls it.
It stands on its own without being rigid, so it stays up when the jacket is open and sits flat when it is zipped.
The body is cut roomy through the chest and seat. If you plan to wear it over a heavy layer, size up and check the chest measurement in the chart.
We have not stated the zip material, because it is not something we can confirm with certainty across production runs. What we can confirm is that it runs the full length of the front and parks at the top, rather than being a partial opening.
